Bryson is now walking all over the house, and using a sippy cup! He is getting so big! He is also very smart! If you say "yay" he will clap for you! If you say "so big" he puts his hands in the air! He likes to show off for his Daddy on skype! He gets so excited whenever he hears the skype phone calling! (I have to admit... I get excited when I hear it too hahaha) We both miss Justin like crazy! WE LOVE YOU JUSTIN!! This deployment can't come to an end soon enough! Bryson and I are getting excited to go to California and see Doug and Jean and his Grandma and Grumpy! We wish Justin could come, it just won't be the same without him, but we plan on having a great time! Well that's all I have for now!
I haven't updated this in a while so I figured why not! Well Justin got home in July for his 2 weeks of leave and we had an AMAZING time. I love my family so much! Bryson is getting so big I don't know what to do with him! He's started taking steps and understanding words. It's so amazing watching our little man grow and learn! Justin wasn't even here for 24 hours and Bryson was already super attached to him. It was as if he never forgot him. Which I know made Justin feel good after being away for almost 7 months. Justin would go outside and Bryson would crawl after him and cry for him... the same way he does for me. It made my heart swell watching those two together. It's undeniable the bond they have. Bryson got to do a lot of firsts with his Daddy; he got his first haircut while sitting on Daddy's lap, he ate his first chicken nugget happy meal from McDonald's, he went to his first baseball game (Texas Rangers), went to his first beach and swam in the lake, stayed in his first hotel, went to SeaWorld for the first time, ate at his first very expensive restaurant, had his first marshmallow, and the biggest thing of all is he took his first steps for his Daddy! One of my favorite things while Justin was here was watching Bryson crawl after Justin when he went outside for something, then Bryson would stand up at the screen door banging on it saying "dada dada" and Justin would bang back at the door. Bryson would laugh and laugh! It broke my heart when we got home from taking Justin back to the airport and Bryson crawled to the back door and banged on it saying "dada dada" and he looked at me and then crawled away when he didn't get a response. The tears wouldn't stop coming. I can't wait for Justin to just come home. I wish he didn't have to deploy and be away from his family. Of all the things I've done or had to endure in my life... these deployments are the hardest thing for me. Especially this one after the year I have had. But either way Justin's leave was amazing and I am so glad we got to spend that time as a family. All three of us really needed that more than words can express. I love my family so much!
